A Day At The Beach

Dad had a survey to do in Laguna and asked us to come down with him and we are so happy that we decided to go. Courtney got to go in the water and showed Emily and Aiden the tide pools. They saw starfish, sand crabs and a whole slew of other things. We are hoping to go again soon so we can do sandcastles. Dad took Aiden and Emily out in the water which they Loved! Emily was so funny when we first got there, she started twirling around in circles waving her hand in the air cheering the second her little hit the sand.




We all had a great time especially in the tide pools. Aiden, and Emily we running around the beach for almost three hours and still managed to stay awake for the drive home. They talked the entire time and it was neat to listen to them talk about everything they saw. Aiden named a crab and a starfish George.

Halloween Fun!

We had a great Halloween and hope everyone else did to! Mom and dad got to go to the Halloween parade at the Aiden and Emilys school which was so fun to watch. Then mom took the kids to the bootique while dad was working in Big Bear.. On Saturday mom and the kids went to a Halloween Party which was so much fun! Dad wasn't able to go because he was sick and then Halloween was spent relaxing at home a getting ready to trick or treat.. Aiden and Emily had so much fun carving the pumpkins. They got to trick or treat for a bit and Courtney stayed home and handed out candy because she is still on crutches:( Hopeful she will get off them soon.

Aiden is on a role!

Well we are so excited how well Aiden is doing this year! On Thursday the 22nd Aiden came home with his Thursday folder and showed us his math test which he got 100% on! Go Aiden! It is his first unassisted test. He also was tested for spelling and the goal was suppose to be 4 or more words and he got 9 of them!! We are so proud of him!

Kids

The kids have been so sick since San Jose, but Courtney and Aiden are back at school today! The doctor said they are cool for school. Aiden was perscribed some medicine for breathing and antibiotics. Courtney is on the last part of her antibiotics.

Poor Emily is so sad :( She wants to go to school and the doctor said no. She has a fever still, upper respitory infection, and a bad ear infection. She has a strong, cough so her head is hurting. Hopefully every one will be well for Halloween!

Happy 6th Birthday Aiden

We celebrated Aidens birthday up in San Jose. Poor Aiden ended up sick and almost losing his entire voice. We stoped and had some fun on the way home. Aiden got to run around and have fun at Casa de Fruta! They have a train ride that we did not make it to because we were hungry. We will go back soon for that and the renaissance fair.

Aunt Beverly Memorial

The nuthouse crew went up to pay respect to Aunt Beverly. Our trip was a visit of sadness and happiness. Uncle Martin is
handling things so well. It was so strange to go up there and not see Aunt Beverly. Even after the service it took a bit to register
that she was no longer with us. The service for Beverly was beautiful. It was nice to see how many people just LOVE Beverly and
hear all the neat stories.
On a happier note, it was neat to talk with Uncle Martin and hear some of his stories and look at
photos. We listened to stories about the life that Aunt Beverly and Uncle Martin shared together for 54 years. Before saying
good by Mary had the great idea of getting the family together outside a taking some pictures which turned out very nice.

Aunt Beverly will be missed but never forgotten!

Aiden

3 cheers for BUDDY! Aiden was recognized for his writting at school. He is the writter of the month and his paper in the show

case.

He is so proud of himself as he should be.. We knew he could do it!

Kindergarten BBQ

We all went to the kindergarten BBQ it was so much fun! We have survived the first couple weeks of. Everyone is exhausted.

Puppy is here to STAY!

Puppy is here to stay and we are excited by it She has brought a good calm to our home. She is our security alarm.

Emilys birthday

We had a small party for Emily's birthday at Montrose Park. She had so much fun playing with her "Big" brother and some of the


kids from her class. I was nice to see Emily so happy. Emily says"it is the best day she has ever had in her whole life!" So


needless to say mom could not stop laughing at that. Emily is so expressive. She says she knows she is a big girl now and is


very happy to be in her new school. It was a lot of fun at the park. Daddy and Courtney were unable to make it because of


dad's work. Emily got so many wonderful gifts from her friends and family. Emily had fun doing finger painting ,giant bubbles,


and we can't forget silly string. .Emily took the time to write thank you notes to her family and friends for the wonderful gifts


she got.


Jason, Heather, and Kaylee came by a few days early to say happy birthday to Emily. The three kids got to do finger


painting. Kaylee was so much fun to paint with! Thanks Jason and Heather for letting us have to painting fun with Kaylee. Kaylee


is a very unique little girl who loves really gets into her art! I believe she had more paint on her body than on the paper. It was


cute!
